Located in downtown Medford, The Pallet Wine Company provides full-service winemaking, storage, laboratory and wine education services to growers and wineries throughout the region. It is based in the Cooley-Neff Building, a two-story 21,000-square foot structure recently added to the National Historic Register. Phase I of the project involves acquisition and installation of winery equipment and readying the facility for production in Fall 2009.
Phase II, beginning in mid-2010, calls for exterior restoration according to strict historic landmark guidelines and the opening of The Side Door public tasting room. It's unique features will include a European bodega-inspired bottle exchange program , designed to offer locals affordable, food-friendly table wines in reusable glass containers.
